Thank you Annie!

I spoke with my very good friend from Central Coast and she lifted my spirits miiiles up. I am so happy that I have such a wonderful girlfriend. She is an angel!

I made her a thank you card for being such an amazing person and helping me feel better (the other day when I was feeling very down).

I also need to make one card for my other super wonderful amazing friend (she's still on the island) I MISS YOU GIRL!!! I can't wait for us to live close by again. I've never had such a great neighbor (and friend) and unless we live next to each other again, I don't think I ever will. Love ya, girl!

The detail is pretty nice - I like it :)

I also did few other cards the other day:

It's finally snowing!

So apparently Michigan had this year the longest summer ever.

Not anymooooore .... it's snowing today and it's pretty chilly ... can't wait to snuggle up under the warm covers tonight.

And while hubby took our daughter to the kid's museum, I had an awesome "mommy time" (first time in past year I think).

Guess what I did ...

Fall days are fun

Our little one loooves her bike! Which is almost too small :( Well, at least there is an older/bigger one waiting in the storage. Let's hope that she won't outgrow it before we get to it.

As you can tell from this picture - she can be and IS handful little sugar and spice.

First try after a looong time

Ok, so in desperation for finding my sanity I turned to my old hobby - scrapbooking and card making.

I think I need a little more inspiration and time.
Here are my first three tries for a Christmas card - just warming up ... he he he ...
My hubby says that the third one looks like a "do not enter" sign ... maybe I should hang it on the bathroom door when I am taking a bath ... before I had my little one I did not realize that having a nice, loooong bath with a book and few candles was a luxury (unless you do it late at night when everybody is asleep).

Arriving to Dominica

OK, so my DH decided to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Due whatever reasons he got into "the Caribbean school" in Dominica - Ross.

After spending one semester in Miami and one semester on the island alone (another story) he asked (we decided) us (my daughter and I) to join him on his wonderful journey.

So after surprising me one weekend with afternoon in the spa

evening meal in a posh/gorgeous restaurant in Westwood (CA)

and night (and breakfast ;) ) in the Bel Air Hotel

the deal was made :)

In 2 days I packed our place in Los Angeles and the next Sunday we arrived to Dominica, W.I. on an overnight flight from LAX. The flight was "wonderful"
and the story starts ...
